Microsoft's E3 '06 Media Briefing was held yesterday at Grumman's Chinese's Theater in Hollywood.

Nintendo held there media event just prior at the adjacent Kodak Theater. To help the massive horde of gaming journalist find there way to Microsoft these banners lined the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

This tent was set up to for the gaming press who did not score a pre invite and bar coded badge.

For those non-English speaking folk there were headsets available.

The show starts with a bag! After a quick Gears of War trailer, Cliff B. takes to the stage and give a live demo of his highly anticipated Xbox 360 exclusive title.

Next up Xbox front man and all around good guy Peter Moore rattles off impressive sales figures and such. He announces 3 new accessories, the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing wheel with real force feedback, Xbox Live Vision Camera and Xbox Live Wireless Headset, all to be released holiday '06.

For the first time the Xbox 360 HD-DVD drive is shown.

Bill Gates makes a surprise appearance at E3, it is his first time actually.
