SCi Entertainment, the parent company of Eidos Interactive, revealed their revenue numbers for the first half of its financial year, and they're pretty damn positive. SCi expects to pass £70 million (about $138 million), which is an impressive 40% increase over the same period last year.

It was all about the new stuff on the market for SCi, as new product releases accounted for 50% of that massive revenue during the six-month span that ended on December 31, 2006. It appears that the multiplatform title, Just Cause was their best seller, despite falling well short of gamer expectations.

SCi believes the game will ultimately sell in excess of one million copies before the end of their financial year, and the company has already confirmed that a sequel is in the works. Other top-sellers that brought in the green for SCi are Lego Star Wars with over 5.4 million copies sold and Justice League Heroes, which is predicted to hit one million copies sold before year's end.

Along with the statistics, SCi and Eidos unveiled some of their development plans for this year. This includes the announcement of some Wii titles - including Bionicle Heroes - for the second quarter and new next-gen installments in the Tomb Raider, Hitman, and Championship Manager franchises. Eidos is also set to release the much anticipated Battlestations: Midway o the 360 and PC in February.

And to sum up the report, SCi stated that the majority of the revenue and product releases will arrive in the second half.
