Rumor: Resident Evil 4 Classic Edition Scheduled For 360, PS3?

We all know that Capcom never lets a franchise die. For the most part, this is a good thing, just because their biggest franchises tend to include a lot of great games. We see a lot of re-releases and remakes when it comes to the new classics, and one of them just might be getting a next-gen overhaul...
According to the latest rumor started by The Horror, it seems Capcom may be planning a Resident Evil 4 Classic Edition for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It's one of those "friend of a friend" reports, so we can't put too much stock in it, but it's still an intriguing idea. Supposedly, somebody spotted an artist in Capcom's San Francisco branch working on box art for the aforementioned port. Furthermore, the lone detail available is that we'll be seeing more of Hunk this time around, with added gameplay similar to that of Ada's "Separate Ways" found in the PS2, Wii and PC versions of RE4. Now, without a look at this box art, we remain skeptical, but with Capcom's history and the success of RE4, we'd say it's a definite possibility.
If we find out more regarding this special Classic Edition, we'll be sure to let you know. At the very least, it's a departure from all the Resident Evil 5 speculation, and besides, RE4 really was a fantastic game. Those who missed out surely wouldn't mind seeing a 360/PS3 version, right?
